Meet the Doctor Behind the Formula

Dr. Paul C. Drago is the only surgeon in the country who is board certified in Cosmetic Surgery, Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, Ear, Nose & Throat Surgery, and is a Fellow in the ENT-Allergy Academy. He was included in America’s Top Physicians by the Research Council of America for four consecutive years (2003-2007), as well being chosen “Top Anti-Aging Physician” for 2006, and being recognized by the council in 2007 for his work in Cosmetic Surgery.

The youngest of seven children, Dr. Drago’s father was a pediatrician and his mother, a registered nurse. After a stellar academic career at Cardinal Spellman High School, he earned his EMT certification from the Institute of Emergency Medicine in New York City. An on-the-job epiphany led him to decide on medicine as a career. After graduating with honors from the University of Maryland with a degree in zoology, Dr. Drago attended Ohio State University College of Medicine, and went on to train at Yale University, where he was selected Intern of the Year. Dr. Drago continued his training at University Hospitals of Cleveland, Louisiana State University and the Children’s Hospital in Birmingham, England. 

After a decade in Rock Hill, S.C., Dr. Drago relocated to Charlotte and opened Genesis Anti-Aging & Cosmetic Surgery in Ballantyne Village, where, along with ear, nose & throat procedures, he specializes in state-of-the-art cosmetic surgery and cutting-edge anti-aging medicine. In addition to numerous medical affiliations, Dr. Drago has completed hundreds of hours of continuing medical education in subjects as diverse as advanced Botox® cosmetics and alternative medicine. He is a frequent presenter on medical topics ranging from hair removal to pediatric infectious diseases. Along with his laboratory research activities, Dr. Drago is a respected author of a number of papers on cosmetic surgery, laser research, hearing loss and cancer, and recently published a book, The Keys: A Guide to Wellness and Anti-Aging. He is also one of only a handful of surgeons certified as a SmartLipo™ trainer in the country.
